Now Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can access Xbox Cloud Gaming on PC and consoles, considerably widening the streaming service's reach. Microsoft made the service available in nearly two dozen different countries, with more than 150 games available from the start. Previously known as Project xCloud, the cloud service's beta originally launched a little over a year ago in September 2020 for PC. This marks an especially interesting step in the company's Cloud Gaming initiative since Xbox One owners now have the ability to stream Series X|S games. Earlier in the week, Microsoft launched Xbox Cloud Gaming for Xbox One and Series X|S, allowing users to stream games directly to their consoles. CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 may have appeared in a recent Cloud Gaming ad, but an Xbox Game Pass launch for the role-playing title is not on the cards, the studio says.
